A few days left for biggest extravaganza

Auto Expo, the biggest extravaganza and a true representation of the country’s automotive industry, is slated to kick-start in a few days from now.
Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2020 and Components Show, jointly organised by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), will once again establish itself as a key global auto show in the region.
Auto Expo - The Motor Show 2020 is scheduled to be organised from February 7 to 12 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. The inauguration ceremony of the Expo will be held on February 6 at the India Expo Mart.
Auto Expo – The Motor Show has been a launch pad for some of the key brands marking their entry into India or global launch/unveiling of some of the key products by the existing brands.
The theme of the 15th edition of Auto Expo is ‘Explore the World of Mobility’, which resonates the message of technology, capability and vision of mobility for tomorrow – safer, cleaner, connected, bespoke and shared. For the visitors, it will be an experience of the mobility eco-system that is unfolding every day and offering better solutions.
Auto Expo 2020 will feature new emission technology and safety standards under one roof. The show will not just be a futuristic perspective of the evolutionary paradigm in the auto industry but also manifest the industry’s preparedness to adapt to the BS-VI norms. It will witness the biggest line-up of BS-VI vehicles much ahead of the Government specified deadline.
The Expo will witness many first time and new entrants and also welcome those who make a comeback after a hiatus. It will also witness participation from many start-ups, showcasing their path-breaking technology in terms of green mobility and futuristic technology.
Mr. Rajan Wadhera, President, SIAM & President, Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, said, “The auto industry is putting its best foot forward to match the aspirations of the nation and this edition of the Auto Expo 2020 will bring to fore the futuristic trends and practicality towards encompassing a multitude of facets of mobility, especially the underlying focus on electric mobility, technology infusion and safety. This auto expo would give a new dimension and feel to the visitors and enable them to ‘Explore the World of Mobility’ through a world class-tech enabled experience for the auto lovers.”
The Expo will not just focus on static display but also provide a truly unique and enriching experience for all the stakeholders and every segment of the society. Also, the Expo will see six ‘special’ days with each day 'exploring' a specific aspect of the world of mobility – Enterprise Day, Goodwill Day, Family Day, Women Power Day, Green Day and Driving Experience Day.
February 7 being the Enterprise Day, the Expo will commence from 11 am and close by 7 pm whereas during public days from February 8 to 12, the show timings will be from 11 am to 8 pm.
Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2020 will be spread in a total ground area of 2,35,000 square metres with key automobile majors participating in indoor built-up area of 51,000 square metres.
There will be a wide range of food brands, proving the visitors an ample choice to satisfy their palate.
