From the Elite Retailers programme

Gabriel India Limited, the pioneer of ride control products and the flagship brand of Anand Group, is highly upbeat about its ‘Elite Retailer Programme’ which was launched in December last year.
The programme, aimed at touching base with the last layer of customers to forge connect, is set to bring about a new movement in the aftermarket arena. Besides, with this programme Gabriel aims to further strengthen its presence in the aftermarket.
Gabriel India has been launching new products from time to time. In the recent past, it has developed more than 500 products for the aftermarket. With an expansion plan, the company now has about 350 distributors and about 5,000 retailers who are marketing Gabriel products. Most of the retailers are associated with Gabriel for a period ranging from 15 to 40 years.
It is believed that about 20 per cent of the reputed retailers sell about 80 per cent of the branded products. The company is trying to be connected with these retailers emotionally through this unique programme.
It is no less creditworthy that Gabriel has already crossed a turnover of Rs 1,000 crore for a single automotive product. Mr. Amitabh Srivastava, Vice- President & Business Head (Global Aftermarket) of Gabriel India, is enthusiastic about relationship with retailers and is expecting to reach mechanics and establish relationship with them also through these retailers.
Gabriel has so far touched base with 100 retailers through this programme and plans to reach another 600 in the next six months. To engage all the retail counters in this programme, Gabriel’s aftermarket is reaching main retailers in each city across the country. This programme is more of a loyalty programme, which helps the company understand customers and the market. The intent behind the programme is to garner loyalty and spread the word towards engaging more customers.
Established in 1961, Gabriel provides the widest range of ride control products in the country. Shock absorbers, struts and front forks, across every automotive segment with over 300 product models are on offer. Gabriel is a brand that is synonymous with shock absorbers in the country. A market leader for over 50 years, Gabriel commands over 45 per cent of market share in the aftermarket.
Gabriel India has an active focus on the aftermarket or replacement market. The company has been able to achieve a leadership position in this segment by servicing it both through the Original Equipment segment as well as directly under its own brand.
Gabriel also has a strong presence in all the six continents, namely, Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, North America and South America.
