The press conference

The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) is organising NuGen Mobility Summit 2019 at Manesar in Haryana from November 27 to 29.

The objective of the three-day summit is to share new ideas, learnings, global experiences, innovations and future technological trends for faster adoption, assimilation and development of advanced automotive technologies for a smarter and greener future.

The event will help in building a platform for bringing together all stakeholders in the automotive industry to understand global advancements in technologies.

ICAT Manesar is a division of NATRIP Implementation Society (NATIS) under the Department of Heavy Industries. It provides services for testing, validation, design and homologation of all categories of vehicles and has a mission to assist the automotive industry in adopting cutting- edge technologies in vehicle evaluation and component development. The purpose is to ensure reliability, durability and compliance to the current and future regulations in new-generation mobility solutions.

NuGen Mobility Summit 2019 would be one of the largest automotive events in the country, said a press release. It is being organized in association with SAENIS, SAE INDIA, SAE International, NATRiP, DIMTS,  DHI, MoRTH, SIAM and ACMA.

The event would host more than 2,500 participants, more than 250 exhibitors, tech theatres, exposition, awards, panel discussions and 150 keynotes and technical papers. All shortlisted technical papers will be assigned SAE numbers.

The uniqueness of this event, said the press release,  is track demonstrations, drive-touch-feel activity and lab demonstrations on upcoming vehicle technologies.

The event aims to bring together the automotive OEMs, professionals, researchers, academic experts, vehicle system suppliers, test equipment supplier, quality managers, product planners, component developers, SAE members and students from all over the world.

NuGen 2019 would give them an opportunity to showcase new ideas, experiments, technologies and innovations in the field of smart and green mobility. The event would also strengthen the engineering community and bridge the gap between industry, academia and the Government.
