Skoda Auto India has introduced the updated Kushaq lineup in the country, announcing prices starting at ₹10.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The refreshed SUV comes with added features, new transmission options, and an expanded variant range, strengthening its position in the competitive mid-size SUV segment.
The new Kushaq is offered in five trims — Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo — with prices going up to ₹18.79 lakh for the 1.5 TSI DSG variant. It continues to be powered by two turbo-petrol engine options: a 1.0-litre TSI and a 1.5-litre TSI. Notably, Skoda has introduced a new eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission for the 1.0 TSI engine, in addition to the existing manual option, while the 1.5 TSI is paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
Feature enhancements include additions such as a rear seat massager, panoramic sunroof, digital cockpit, and upgraded infotainment systems across variants. Safety has also been strengthened, with over 40 features on offer, while the SUV retains its five-star Global NCAP safety rating. Even the entry-level Classic+ variant now comes equipped with six airbags, LED lighting, a touchscreen infotainment system, and an electric sunroof as standard.
Commenting on the launch, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, highlighted that the updated Kushaq delivers competitive pricing, enhanced safety, and strong performance, along with segment-first features such as the eight-speed automatic transmission and rear seat massager.
The new Kushaq will be available across Skoda Auto India’s network spanning more than 180 cities, with deliveries already underway.
