Tesla India has opened its first Tesla-Approved Body Shop in Pune and introduced test drives for the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and Model Y L, strengthening its after-sales service and customer experience in Maharashtra.

Tesla India has strengthened its after-sales network with the launch of its first Tesla-Approved Body Shop in Pune, offering owners in Maharashtra access to Tesla-certified collision repair, servicing, and maintenance. The new facility marks a significant step in enhancing the ownership experience by providing convenient access to genuine Tesla parts, trained technicians, and repair services that meet the company’s global standards.

In addition to expanding its service infrastructure, Tesla has also introduced test drives for the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and the Model Y L in Pune and nearby regions. Prospective customers can now experience both electric SUVs firsthand by booking a test drive through Tesla’s official website or customer support helpline.

The Tesla-Approved Body Shop is equipped to deliver professional collision repairs using genuine Tesla components, software-aware diagnostics, and manufacturer-approved repair procedures. The facility is designed to help maintain vehicle safety, performance, and reliability while reducing service turnaround times for customers across Pune and the wider Maharashtra region.

The 2026 Tesla Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive offers seating for up to five passengers, up to 2,138 litres of cargo space, and power-folding rear seats for added practicality. Powered by Tesla’s electric drivetrain, the SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and delivers a WLTP-certified driving range of up to 500 km. The model is priced at ₹50.89 lakh, with deliveries scheduled to commence in July 2026.

Customers can also experience the Tesla Model Y L, a three-row, six-seat all-wheel-drive electric SUV designed for families seeking greater space and versatility. The Model Y L offers a WLTP-certified range of up to 681 km, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds, and provides up to 2,539 litres of cargo capacity, making it one of Tesla’s most spacious offerings. It is available in India at a starting price of ₹61.99 lakh.

The introduction of Tesla’s first approved body shop in Pune, alongside expanded test-drive availability, reflects the company’s continued investment in India’s growing electric vehicle market. By strengthening its sales and service ecosystem, Tesla aims to provide a seamless ownership experience while supporting the increasing adoption of premium electric mobility across the country.
