Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has partnered with Jio-bp to integrate their respective electric vehicle charging networks, expanding access to public EV charging infrastructure for customers across India.
The partnership will bring more than 7,000 Jio-bp pulse charging points across over 300 cities onto HMIL’s charging ecosystem. With this integration, the number of public charging points accessible through the myHyundai app will increase from more than 30,000 to over 37,000 across India.
The collaboration is aimed at providing EV users with a more convenient and seamless public charging experience by bringing a larger charging network together through a single digital platform.
Over 37,000 Charging Points Accessible Through myHyundai
Through the integration, EV users will be able to discover, access and use Jio-bp pulse charging stations through the myHyundai app. The platform is open to EV users across vehicle brands, allowing customers to locate and use available public charging stations through a single interface.
Jio-bp currently operates more than 7,000 active charging points across 300-plus cities. Its network also has a strong presence along major national highways, supporting long-distance EV travel across the country.
Jio-bp’s charging infrastructure includes DC fast chargers ranging from 60 kW to 480 kW, allowing compatible EVs to charge at their maximum hardware capability. The network also maintains an industry-leading uptime of 96%, aimed at providing customers with a more dependable charging experience.
HMIL Charging Network to Expand Further
As part of the partnership, HMIL’s proprietary DC fast-charging network will also be gradually made available through the Jio-bp pulse charge pro app. This will include HMIL’s existing charging stations as well as future installations.
HMIL currently operates 183 DC fast-charging stations and plans to expand its proprietary network to 600 stations by 2030.
The integration of the two networks is expected to give EV users greater flexibility by allowing them to discover charging infrastructure across multiple networks through different digital platforms.
Hyundai Highlights Shift From Range Anxiety to Charging Anxiety

According to Hyundai, improving the availability, reliability and convenience of charging infrastructure will be increasingly important as it expands its EV product portfolio in India. The company believes that integrating its charging network with Jio-bp pulse will simplify the charging experience while giving customers access to a wider network through the myHyundai app.
HMIL and Jio-bp will also explore customer-centric offers in the future as part of efforts to enhance the overall EV ownership experience.
Jio-bp Focuses on Reliable and High-Speed Charging
Sarthak Behuria, Chairman, Jio-bp, said the partnership reflects a shared focus on building greater trust in electric mobility by expanding access to dependable charging infrastructure.
Akshay Wadhwa, CEO, Jio-bp, highlighted the importance of charging reliability for EV owners, noting that the availability of a charger is only part of the challenge. Ensuring that charging stations remain operational is also important for reducing charging-related concerns.
With its high-capacity fast chargers and 96% network uptime, Jio-bp aims to provide EV users with a faster and more reliable charging experience.
Wider Charging Ecosystem for EV Users
The partnership between Hyundai Motor India and Jio-bp comes as India’s EV ecosystem continues to expand beyond vehicle sales, with charging infrastructure becoming an increasingly important part of the ownership experience.
By integrating their charging networks, the two companies aim to improve public charging accessibility and support both everyday EV use and long-distance travel.
With more than 37,000 public charging points accessible through the myHyundai app, 183 operational HMIL DC fast-charging stations and a target of 600 proprietary stations by 2030, Hyundai is continuing to expand its charging ecosystem alongside its growing EV portfolio.
