Montra Electric has partnered with MobiLane Network to integrate MobiLane’s charging infrastructure with its commercial electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem. The collaboration will provide Montra Electric’s commercial EV users access to MobiLane’s network of more than 120 DC fast-charging points across 40 cities and nine states.
The integration is enabled through the Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) protocol, allowing Montra Electric drivers and fleet operators to access MobiLane’s charging network through a connected platform. Users can locate charging stations, check real-time charger availability, authorise charging sessions and manage payments at participating MobiLane locations.
Devansh Shah, Founder of EVamp Technologies, the operating company behind MobiLane, said the OCPI-based integration is aimed at creating a more connected charging ecosystem and reducing technology-related barriers between electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
The partnership is expected to support greater charging accessibility for Montra Electric’s commercial EV users as the company continues to expand its electric mobility ecosystem.
