
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported its strongest-ever February performance since commencing operations in the country, achieving total sales of 66,134 units in February 2026. The company registered a healthy year-on-year (YoY) growth of 12.6 percent, supported by robust domestic demand and strong export momentum.
Domestic sales stood at 52,407 units during the month, marking the company’s highest-ever February domestic performance and reflecting a 9.8 percent YoY increase. Export volumes also recorded significant growth, contributing 13,727 units, up 24.8 percent compared with the same period last year.
The continued sales momentum follows a strong start to 2026, with Hyundai maintaining consistent growth across both domestic and international markets. The performance highlights sustained customer demand, expanding global reach and the brand’s focus on delivering advanced connected technologies and enhanced ownership experiences.
Commenting on the results, Managing Director and CEO Tarun Garg noted that the company has carried forward the strong momentum achieved at the beginning of the year. With record February sales across domestic and export markets, Hyundai remains focused on expanding technology accessibility while strengthening its long-term commitment to customers in India and global markets, as it approaches three decades of operations in the country.
