Bharat Forge completes acquisition of AAM India Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd.

The acquisition was completed at an equity value of ₹7,464.6 million, inclusive of ₹1,894.8 million in cash reserves held by AAM India. This cash will be available to fund future growth opportunities. The final equity value is subject to adjustments based on net working capital as of June 30, 2025.

Bharat Forge Limited (BFL) has successfully completed the acquisition of AAM India Manufacturing Private Limited. This follows the earlier announcement on October 17, 2024, and the subsequent approval received from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) on April 22, 2025.

The acquisition was finalized at an equity value of ₹7,464.6 million, which includes ₹1,894.8 million in cash reserves held by AAM India. These funds will support future growth initiatives. The final transaction value remains subject to net working capital adjustments as of June 30, 2025.

AAM India is a well-established name in the automotive components sector, catering to leading OEMs across both conventional and new mobility technologies. This strategic acquisition strengthens BFL’s position by expanding its product portfolio and enhancing its ability to deliver comprehensive component solutions to OEMs in India and global markets.
