BYD India, the subsidiary of the world’s No. 1 NEV (New Energy Vehicle) manufacturer BYD, has announced an upcoming price increase for the BYD SEALION 7, effective January 1, 2026. Customers booking the eSUV on or before December 31, 2025 can still avail the current ex-showroom pricing, securing added value ahead of the scheduled hike.
Current ex-showroom prices (valid until 31 December 2025):
• SEALION 7 Performance (82.56 kWh) – ₹54,90,000
• SEALION 7 Premium (82.56 kWh) – ₹48,90,000
Since its showcase debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the BYD SEALION 7 has gained strong traction nationwide, achieving over 2,000 customer deliveries. The milestone reflects rising demand for the fully electric Pure Performance eSUV, known for its advanced technology, premium design, and dynamic driving performance.

Powered by BYD’s advanced iTAC (Intelligence Torque Adaption Control) and CTB (Cell to Body) technology, the BYD SEALION 7 integrates the Blade Battery as a structural part of the chassis, offering enhanced cabin space, improved handling and elevated safety. The vehicle is equipped with an 82.56 kWh battery pack and is available in both Premium and Performance variants, offering strong acceleration, extended range, and a suite of luxury and technology features. The BYD SEALION 7 holds a 5-Star NCAP safety rating, further reinforcing its commitment to advanced safety engineering. The car can accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 4.5 secs in the Performance trim, and the Premium, does the same in 6.7 seconds. The BYD SEALION 7 Performance offers a range of 542 kms and the Premium can go 567 kms on a full charge (both range figures as per NEDC test). The Performance takes the power figure to 390 kW and torque to 690 Nm. The Premium variant makes 230 kW of power and 380 Nm of torque. The BYD SEALION 7 measures 4,830 mm in length and 2,930 mm of wheelbase ensuring solid design proportions and ample interior space.
