Bijliride, one of India’s fastest-growing two-wheeler EV rental platforms, has announced its entry into Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR—three of the country’s largest urban mobility hubs. Building on its strong and successful operations in Hyderabad, the company is now gearing up to deliver clean, affordable, and tech-driven mobility solutions to millions of daily commuters across India’s busiest metropolitan cities as part of its FY 2025–26 expansion strategy.
This expansion is designed to make EV mobility easier and more accessible for everyday riders, professionals commuting to work, students navigating daily travel, and gig-economy workers who rely on dependable vehicles for their livelihoods. As part of the first phase, Bijliride aims to deploy approximately 2,500 vehicles in Bengaluru, 1,500 in Mumbai, and 2,500 in the Delhi NCR region, in addition to the current fleet of 3,500 in Hyderabad, with plans to scale further based on demand and utilisation over the next six months.
To support this rollout, Bijliride is significantly strengthening its OEM partnerships. While 60–70% of the fleet will be company-owned, nearly the remaining 30 to 40% deployment will be supported through an expanded association with BGauss and other leading manufacturers. The new fleet will be equipped with upgraded battery systems, advanced telematics, and improved range, offering a smoother and more reliable riding experience.
“Our mission is simple: to make sustainable mobility accessible, reliable, and rewarding for everyone. Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru are high-potential EV rental markets, especially for daily commuters who rely on convenient and affordable mobility solutions. Our expansion into these cities marks an important step in positioning Bijliride as a category leader and reflects the strong momentum we’ve built so far. With each new city, we’re not just scaling operations, we’re strengthening the foundation for a cleaner, smarter, and more connected urban commute,” said Vishal Vikram, Co-founder & CMO, Bijliride.
With this expansion, booking an EV becomes as simple as a tap. Customers can use the Bijliride Mobile App to choose from daily, weekly, or monthly rental options based on their commute needs. Vehicles will be available across a dense network of pickup and drop points located near metro stations, IT corridors, commercial hubs, and residential clusters, making everyday mobility seamless and efficient.
As Bijliride accelerates into its next chapter of growth, the company remains committed to strengthening its tech-enabled platform, ensuring round-the-clock service reliability, and contributing to India’s shift toward cleaner mobility. With its broader expansion strategy and increased fleet rollout, Bijliride is moving steadily toward its vision of 10,000 active EVs on the road by FY26, helping reduce urban pollution and shaping the future of electric mobility in India.
