Nissan Motor India has expanded its CNG retrofitment program to include the New Nissan Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT), now with government-approved CNG kits. Building on the strong customer response to the earlier retrofitment offering for the Magnite BR10 Manual Transmission, this update reflects Nissan’s ongoing commitment to delivering efficient, affordable, and customer-focused mobility solutions. The expansion also debuts a new integrated fuel lid design, enhancing convenience and usability.
The certification for the BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT) variant now enables a wider set of customers to opt for a factory-approved, high-quality retrofit solution, combining Nissan’s trusted performance with the cost-efficiency of CNG. In line with customer response, feedback and global best practices, the company has also introduced a re-engineered fuelling system. The CNG filling valve is now integrated within the existing fuel-filling lid, replacing the earlier engine-compartment placement. This enhancement offers greater convenience, quicker refuelling, and improved ergonomics for everyday users. CNG retrofitted New Nissan Magnite to come with 3 year or 1 lakh km warranty.
Further strengthening its value proposition, Nissan announced an MRP of ₹71,999/- for the CNG retrofitment kit, following the recent GST rate reduction from 28% to 18%. The price has been effective across all authorised Nissan CNG retrofitment centres pan-India starting 22nd September 2025. Price is unchanged despite the upgrade.
