Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Asta CNG variant launched

Hyundai has introduced the new Grand i10 NIOS Asta CNG variant at a price point of INR 8.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The Asta CNG variant is expensive by INR 92,000 compared to its petrol variants. Apart from Asta, the Grand i10 NIOS Magna and Sportz are available with CNG variants, priced at INR 7.16 lakh and INR 7.70 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom), respectively. The CNG variants of both cost INR 1 lakh more than the petrol variants.

In terms of features, the new Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Asta CNG variant is similar to all the other variants. It comes equipped with a push start/stop button, adjustable rear headrests, rear washer/wiper, and gets chrome finish on rear, outer door handles and parking lever tip.

Inside the cabin, the new Asta CNG variant is offered with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 5.3-inch semi-digital multi-information display, voice recognition, Arkamys sound system, auto climate control, wireless charger, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a cooled glove box.

Mechanically, powering the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Asta CNG variant is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that churns out 68 bhp power and 95.2 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The CNG variant generates lesser power and torque compared to the petrol variants.

The South Korean manufacturer is launching the cars one after the other. Now it is all set to launch its next-gen Hyundai Tucson SUV on August 4, 2022 in the Indian market. Customers can pre-book the premium SUV at an initial amount of INR 50,000 through the official website or any Signature dealerships across the country.
