Ampere has introduced the Magnus G Max electric scooter in India at an introductory price of ₹94,999, positioning it as a practical and family-friendly mobility solution for customers looking to shift to electric transportation.
The Magnus G Max is powered by a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery, backed by a 5-year or 75,000 km warranty. It delivers over 100 km of real-world range in Eco mode, while the certified range stands at 142 km. The scooter can be charged from 20% to 80% in approximately 4.5 hours.
One of the key highlights of the Magnus G Max is its 33-litre under-seat storage, claimed to be among the largest in its segment. The scooter is driven by a hub-mounted motor producing 1.5 kW of nominal power and 2.4 kW peak output. It offers three riding modes—Eco, City, and Reverse—and achieves a top speed of 65 kmph.
In terms of hardware, the scooter features 165 mm ground clearance, hydraulic telescopic front suspension, and dual rear shock absorbers. It is equipped with a 3.5-inch LCD digital instrument cluster with USB charging, along with LED headlamps and indicators as standard. Optional connected features are available via a telematics control unit.
The Ampere Magnus G Max is offered in three dual-tone colour options—Monsoon Blue, Matcha Green, and Cinnamon Copper.
Commenting on the launch, Vikas Singh, Managing Director of Greaves Electric Mobility, said the Magnus G Max was developed following extensive research into Indian family usage patterns, with a focus on delivering consistent range, enhanced comfort, ample storage, and high battery safety standards.
