Bajaj brings back the Icon: Pulsar 180 returns with LED and Bluetooth upgrades

The updated model aims to deliver improved performance, modern technology, and everyday practicality.

Bajaj Auto has reintroduced the Bajaj Pulsar 180 at ₹1.22 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), bringing back one of its most iconic motorcycles with updated styling and modern features. The relaunch comes in response to strong customer demand following the model’s discontinuation in 2022.

The updated Pulsar 180 features new graphics, an LED headlamp, LED turn indicators, and a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument console. The comeback also coincides with 25 years of the Pulsar brand, which began with the launch of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 — models that helped define India’s performance motorcycle segment.

Bajaj Auto positioned the Pulsar 180 as an upgrade option for riders currently using 150–160 cc motorcycles, offering improved performance and additional features while maintaining everyday usability.

Sarang Kanade said the return of the Pulsar 180 reflects strong and consistent customer demand and significant enthusiasm on social media. He added that reintroducing the iconic nameplate is particularly meaningful as the Pulsar brand celebrates its 25-year milestone. According to Kanade, the motorcycle has been reimagined for a new generation while continuing to embody the brand’s “Definitely Daring” philosophy.

Originally introduced as a performance-focused motorcycle, the Pulsar 180 played a crucial role in shaping India’s performance biking culture. The refreshed model aims to continue that legacy with aggressive styling, refined performance, and contemporary features designed to enhance the overall riding experience.
