VIDA – powered by Hero MotoCorp – has announced the launch of the new VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant, expanding its popular VX2 Evooter portfolio. The new model was unveiled by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, reflecting the government’s continued commitment to advancing electric mobility adoption in India.
The introduction of the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant reinforces VIDA’s mission to democratize electric mobility and embodies its philosophy of “Ghar Ghar Evooter” — delivering practical, accessible, and sustainable electric transportation solutions for every Indian household.
With this addition, Hero MotoCorp continues to strengthen its leadership in the electric two-wheeler segment, offering consumers a wider range of innovative and efficient mobility choices.
Since its debut, the VIDA Evooter VX2 has earned strong consumer acceptance for its reliability, convenience, and familiar design. Recognized as “Badalte India Ka Scooter”, it combines the reliability of a scooter with the innovation of an EV, making it a preferred choice for riders looking to shift to electric mobility. The new Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh builds on this success, offering enhanced performance, extended range and improved comfort — designed around the needs of Indian commuters and families.
The Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is equipped with a dual-removable-battery system, offering a real-world range of up to 100 km per charge and peak power of 6 kW with 26 Nm torque. Riders can choose between Eco and Ride modes for flexible performance, while a top speed of 70 km/h ensures confidence on urban roads. Designed with daily practicality in mind, it features a flat floorboard, large seat, 27.2-litre under-seat storage, and suspension tuned for Indian roads — ideal for both solo and family use.
Commenting on the launch, Ms. Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer – Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp, said: “VIDA has always stood for progress – combining innovation with functionality to enhance life for Indian riders. The new Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is designed for those who seek more range and efficiency in their commute — conscious of performance, practicality, and purpose. It reinforces our commitment to empowering everyday mobility and moving India towards a cleaner, better tomorrow.”
VIDA continues to make electric mobility more accessible through its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which allows customers to subscribe to the battery instead of purchasing it outright — lowering upfront ownership costs and offering flexible charging and maintenance options. Supported by VIDA’s expanding ecosystem of 4,600+ charging points and 700+ service touchpoints across India, this makes electric mobility more affordable and adaptable for customers nationwide. The VIDA Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is priced at INR. 102 000*, with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) starting at INR. 60 000, along with a pay-per-kilometre cost of INR. 0.90.
The VIDA Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh will be available across VIDA dealerships starting November 2025. With this launch, the Evooter VX2 portfolio now includes VX2 Go 2.2 kWh, VX2 Go 3.4 kWh, and VX2 Plus, offering a complete range of family-oriented electric scooters tailored to diverse riding needs- from commuters to performance seekers.
VIDA remains focused on empowering Indian riders through innovation, service, and a strong support ecosystem — delivering a reliable and future-ready electric mobility experience.
