Hyundai Motor Company has unveiled the all-new STARIA Electric at the Brussels Motor Show, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s electrification journey. Bringing together zero-emission performance, people-centric design and everyday practicality, the STARIA Electric introduces a fresh benchmark in the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) segment.
Commenting on the launch, Xavier Martinet, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe, said the STARIA Electric extends Hyundai’s EV expertise into a familiar and trusted vehicle format. By combining STARIA’s hallmark space and flexibility with a new high-voltage, fast-charging electric system and a refreshed interior, the model delivers efficient and practical electric mobility tailored for real-world European use.
At its core, the STARIA Electric opens a fully electric chapter for Hyundai’s MPV lineup, placing interior roominess and functional versatility at the centre of its design philosophy. Developed to suit families, shuttle services and active lifestyles, the vehicle brings zero-tailpipe-emission mobility to a segment where comfort, space and usability are critical.
The cabin is defined by a strong sense of openness, enabled by a flat floor, wide interior dimensions and flexible seating layouts. This lounge-like environment allows passengers to move freely and adapt the space effortlessly for varied use cases—from daily commutes and family travel to professional passenger transport and leisure activities.
Hyundai’s signature ‘Inside Out’ design philosophy plays a key role in delivering this experience. The STARIA Electric’s long body, low beltline and expansive glass area are designed around occupant comfort, offering excellent visibility and flooding the cabin with natural light. These elements enhance the vehicle’s open, welcoming ambience while supporting a clean and intuitive interior layout.
Staying true to STARIA’s people-focused DNA, the electric variant prioritises seating comfort, ease of use and intuitive functionality. Paired with a high-performance electric powertrain and advanced 800-volt charging technology, the STARIA Electric seamlessly translates these strengths into the electric era.
As part of Hyundai Motor’s broader electrification strategy, the STARIA Electric positions electric driving as a practical, comfortable and genuinely usable solution—bringing spacious, everyday zero-emission mobility to a wide range of customers.
