Jeep has launched the Meridian Track Edition in India at a starting price of ₹35.95 lakh (ex-showroom). This limited-production version of the premium three-row SUV is based on the fully loaded Overland trim and introduces a range of visual and feature enhancements, while retaining the same mechanical setup.
The Track Edition stands out with darkened exterior accents, exclusive graphics, distinctive badging and newly styled 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, giving it a sharper and more dynamic presence. Inside, the cabin receives upgraded materials and refined detailing, including a dual-tone theme, contrast stitching, quilted seat upholstery, bespoke inserts and special insignia to underline its exclusive positioning.
A key functional update is the redesigned second-row seat, which now slides forward by up to 140 mm. This improves access to the third row and allows greater flexibility in managing legroom, enhancing overall comfort for long journeys and larger families.
Under the hood, the SUV continues with the proven 2.0-litre, four-cylinder Fiat-sourced diesel engine paired with an automatic transmission. A terrain management system also remains part of the package.
Commenting on the launch, Kumar Priyesh, Business Head and Director – Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, said the Track Edition offers a more expressive take on the premium seven-seater while delivering improved flexibility through the new sliding second row, making it the most comfortable Meridian yet.
Bookings are now open both online and across dealerships nationwide. In the Indian market, the Meridian rivals the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Skoda Kodiaq, and upcoming models such as the MG Majestor and Volkswagen Tayron.
