Jeep India has reintroduced the Wrangler Willys ’41 special edition in the Indian market, responding to strong customer demand for the heritage-inspired model. The latest iteration will be limited to just 41 units. The edition was originally launched in May 2025 with a production run of 30 units, all of which were sold out within seven days of launch. Customers can book the new batch online or through authorised dealerships, with deliveries expected to commence shortly.
Based on the top-spec Rubicon variant, the SUV is priced at ₹70.31 lakh (ex-showroom), representing a premium of ₹2 lakh over the standard model. An optional accessory package is available at ₹3.60 lakh. Compared to the previous iteration, the price of the Willys ’41 edition has increased by ₹49,000, while the optional accessory pack has become more affordable, with its price reduced by ₹96,000.
Inspired by the brand’s wartime legacy, the special edition is finished in a distinctive ‘41 Green paint shade and features a redesigned 1941 hood decal along with military-themed styling cues. Jeep says the model blends historic design inspiration with modern-day comfort and technology.
Feature highlights include power-operated side steps, all-weather floor mats, grab handles for front and rear occupants, and front as well as rear digital video recorders. Buyers can also opt for an adventure package that adds a roof carrier with integrated side steps and a Sunrider roof.
Inside the cabin, the SUV gets a 12.3-inch infotainment system running the Uconnect 5 operating system, supporting wireless connectivity through Apple Inc. CarPlay and Google Android Auto. Other equipment includes a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, an off-road camera with washer, 12-way powered front seats and automatic headlamps.
Safety features comprise electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic roll mitigation, tyre pressure monitoring system and rear parking sensors. The SUV also comes equipped with an advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) package that includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and forward collision warning with emergency braking assist.
Powering the Wrangler Willys ’41 edition is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 270 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission and Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time four-wheel-drive system. Off-road capability is further enhanced with a dedicated Rock mode, locking front and rear differentials, an electronically disconnecting front sway bar and a 240-amp alternator.
