Kia India expands Carens Clavis EV Lineup with New HTX E & HTX E [ER] Trims

Featuring 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery packs respectively, the new variants offer premium features like a panoramic sunroof, full LED lighting, wireless charging, and a tilt-telescopic steering wheel. The launch aims to meet growing demand for stylish, feature-rich EVs among urban buyers and reinforces Kia’s focus on sustainable mobility.

Kia India has launched two new trims—HTX E and HTX E [ER]—for its Carens Clavis EV, priced at ₹19.99 lakh and ₹21.99 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively, as part of its festive season lineup expansion.

The Carens Clavis EV, Kia’s first made-in-India electric vehicle, has seen strong market response, especially among urban families and young professionals seeking a stylish and feature-rich EV.

The new HTX E (42 kWh battery) and HTX E [ER] (51.4 kWh battery) trims are positioned between the HTK+ and HTX variants and come with premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, full LED lighting across all rows, wireless charging, ECM rearview mirror, all-window auto up/down, and a two-tone, tilt and telescopic steering wheel.

This launch reflects Kia’s commitment to sustainable mobility and its focus on meeting evolving customer needs with enhanced EV options.

For enhanced comfort and convenience, the cabin is equipped with a seat back folding table, an air-purifier with virus protection, leatherette seats, a multi-color mood lamp with footwell illumination, and solar glass ensuring a sophisticated experience for every journey.

The Carens Clavis EV is built for evolving customer needs with a spacious design, premium features, and everyday practicality. Powered by 99kW & 126kW motor delivering 255 Nm torque, it offers smooth performance across commutes and road trips, with dual battery options—51.4 kWh (490 km range) and 42 kWh (404 km range)—and fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes. Safety in Carens Clavis EV remains paramount with 18 advanced features, including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), and more. Inside, a 67.62 cm (26.62”) dual panoramic display, 90 connected car features, and intuitive controls ensure a seamless, connected driving experience.
