Created for customers seeking a more exclusive and distinctive expression of the iconic SUV, the Thar ROXX STAR EDN blends Thar’s legendary off-road capability with bespoke styling enhancements.
The special edition features aesthetically elevated design elements across both the exterior and the cabin, offering a more premium and personalised appeal while retaining the rugged DNA that defines the Thar brand. With the launch of the ROXX STAR EDN, Mahindra aims to further strengthen the Thar ROXX portfolio and cater to buyers looking for individuality without compromising on performance.

Thar ROXX STAR EDN will continue to offer proven engine and transmission options – G20 TGDi mStallion and D22 mHawk producing max power of 130 kW@5000r/min, torque of 380 Nm and power of 128.6 kW@3500r/min, torque of 400 Nm respectively. All three variants will come with rear-wheel drive system for versatile driving conditions.

Mahindra has announced the introductory ex-showroom prices for the Thar ROXX STAR EDN, available in both petrol and diesel powertrains with manual and automatic transmission options.
- G20 Petrol AT (RWD): ₹17.85 lakh
- D22 Diesel MT (RWD): ₹16.85 lakh
- D22 Diesel AT (RWD): ₹18.35 lakh

Thar ROXX STAR EDN – Key Highlights
The Thar ROXX STAR EDN blends premium comfort, bold design, advanced technology and proven off-road performance with enhanced safety.
It features all-black leatherette seats with suede accents, front ventilated seats, a panoramic Skyroof, and a new piano black grille with R19 alloy wheels for a commanding presence. The SUV is equipped with a 26.03 cm HD touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, Adrenox connected car technology with Alexa, surround view camera and a 9-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system.
Power comes from 2.0L TGDi petrol and mHawk diesel engines, paired with Mahindra’s M_GLYDE body-on-frame platform, XPLOR terrain modes and a brake locking differential for confident performance on and off the road.
On the safety front, the Thar ROXX STAR EDN is engineered for a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating and comes with six airbags, TPMS, front and rear parking sensors, rear camera, auto-dimming IRVM, immobiliser and E-Call & SOS emergency assistance.
