Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has launched Swayamgati, the world’s first production-ready autonomous electric three-wheeler, marking a major leap forward in India’s mobility landscape. The passenger variant is priced at ₹4 lakh, with a cargo version to follow at ₹4.15 lakh. Commercial rollout has begun, and bookings are now open.
Swayamgati offers a range of up to 120 km on a single charge and combines OSM’s electric platform with a robust AI-powered autonomy stack. Key features include Lidar, GPS, AI-based obstacle detection (up to 6 meters), multi-sensor navigation, and remote safety controls—enabling smooth autonomous navigation in controlled environments like airports, tech parks, smart campuses, and industrial zones.
Calling it a defining moment, OSM Founder and Chairman Uday Narang stated, “The launch of Swayamgati isn’t just about a new product—it’s a declaration that India can lead the future of autonomous mobility. This vehicle proves that advanced technologies like AI and Lidar can be developed in India, for India, and offered at a price that’s truly accessible.”
He emphasized that Swayamgati is designed to deliver real-world impact, combining innovation with practicality to meet India’s evolving transport needs.
Vivek Dhawan, Chief Strategy Officer, OSM, said: “Swayamgati is a result of deep R&D and a clear vision: to democratize autonomy. Our autonomous electric three-wheeler enables us to leapfrog traditional EV barriers and bring intelligent systems into everyday mobility.”
The vehicle has already completed Phase 1 testing on a 3-km autonomous route with 7 stops, real-time obstacle detection, and safe passenger movement without human intervention. With the validation complete, Phase 2 begins with commercial rollout in controlled environments.
Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has launched Swayamgati, a fully electric autonomous three-wheeler built specifically for Indian conditions, such as high-density, low-speed traffic and varied terrains. Designed for smart cities, industrial zones, and transport hubs, it offers zero emissions and lower operational costs.
OSM currently produces electric three-wheelers and commercial vehicles in India and is expanding into CNG and electric two-wheelers. The company aims to manufacture 1,500 autonomous vehicles over the next two years, supported by a growing network of 200+ dealerships and service centers.
Part of the Anglian Omega Group, OSM operates manufacturing plants in Faridabad and Pune, with an international assembly unit in Dubai to serve EV markets in Asia and Africa.
