Solis, the flagship brand of International Tractors Ltd (ITL) and one of India’s top tractor exporters, has unveiled the all-new Solis JP 975, marking the launch of its next-generation tractor technology platform designed for high-performance, application-ready farming solutions. Developed entirely from scratch, the JP 975 is the first model in the upcoming JP series, aimed at meeting the needs of India’s increasingly technology-driven and productivity-focused farmers.
Powered by an all-new JP Tech four-cylinder engine, the tractor delivers up to 10% higher torque, peaking at 205 Nm, enabling it to handle heavy-duty agricultural tasks with ease.
The JP 975 also introduces India’s first 15F+5R epicyclic transmission in its segment, paired with side-shift gears and five optimal working speeds tailored for major farm applications. Its Smart Shuttle system allows smooth and rapid direction changes, boosting operator efficiency during fieldwork and loader operations.
Built on a ladder-type chassis, the tractor improves stability while reducing noise and vibrations during long working hours.
“This launch marks a decisive step in our mission to bring next-generation tractor technologies to Indian farmers,” said Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, ITL. He added that the JP 975 sets new standards in power, comfort and versatility, with additional models based on this advanced platform scheduled for rollout over the next year.
