STUDDS Nardo grey helmet series launched in limited run of 1,947 units

STUDDS Accessories has launched a limited-edition Nardo Grey helmet series across seven models, with production capped at 1,947 units to mark India's Independence Day.

STUDDS Accessories has introduced a limited-edition Nardo Grey helmet series across seven models, with production restricted to 1,947 units. Launched ahead of India’s 80th Independence Day, the special-edition range is available in both gloss and matte finishes.

The limited production number pays tribute to 1947, the year India gained independence. The Nardo Grey colour takes its name from the Nardò Ring high-speed test circuit in southern Italy. The shade gained prominence in the automotive world after being associated with the Audi R8 and has since become popular across automotive and motorcycle design.

STUDDS has also drawn inspiration from the grey tones associated with India’s defence forces, including the Su-30MKI fighter aircraft, naval vessels and Army camouflage. The company is presenting the special-edition helmets as part of its Independence Day campaign, ‘The Colour of Honour’.

STUDDS Nardo Grey Series Includes Seven Helmet Models

The limited-edition Nardo Grey range is available across seven STUDDS helmet models — Helios, Trooper, Ninja Elite Super, Drifter, Raider Super, Vogue and Ray Super.

The collection covers multiple helmet formats and riding applications, ranging from highway-focused full-face helmets to modular, flip-up and open-face options designed for urban and mixed-use riding.

  • Helios: Full-face helmet designed for highway riding
  • Trooper: Modular helmet featuring a dual-visor mechanism
  • Ninja Elite Super: Flip-up helmet configuration
  • Drifter: Full-face helmet with dynamic ventilation
  • Raider Super: Lightweight full-face helmet aimed at urban riders
  • Vogue: Open-face helmet
  • Ray Super: Open-face helmet

According to Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director, STUDDS, the series takes inspiration from the aesthetics of India’s defence forces while focusing on safety and rider protection.

STUDDS Nardo Grey Helmets Comply with ISI/BIS Standards

All seven helmets in the Nardo Grey collection comply with Indian Safety Standards (ISI/BIS). Two of the models additionally carry DOT certification.

According to STUDDS, the helmets feature high-impact thermoplastic outer shells, regulated-density EPS liners, UV-resistant lacquer, breathable padding and quick-release micrometric chin-strap buckles.

The combination of different helmet designs and safety features allows the limited-edition collection to cater to a broad range of riding requirements.

Nardo Grey Series Forms Part of ‘The Colour of Honour’ Campaign

The Nardo Grey collection serves as the central product focus of STUDDS’ Independence Day campaign, #TheColourOfHonour.

The campaign is being promoted across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube and also includes support for a group of riders undertaking a journey from Bihar to Nepal.

The limited-edition 1,947 helmets are being distributed through authorised STUDDS dealers across India, with retail availability to follow. The company has also confirmed that the range will be offered through its online store.

With the Nardo Grey series, STUDDS combines a limited production run, defence-inspired styling and multiple helmet formats as part of its Independence Day campaign.
