
India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. has announced a bold new chapter in its journey with the launch of the all-new Yamaha XSR155, part of its globally celebrated “Sport Heritage” lineup. Alongside this, Yamaha unveiled its first electric vehicles in India – the AEROX-E and EC-06, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s transition toward sustainable and future-ready mobility.
Adding to the excitement, the company has also expanded its popular FZ series with the launch of the new FZ-RAVE, a motorcycle crafted to appeal to India’s young, energetic riders.

Meanwhile, Yamaha’s entry into India’s EV market through the AEROX-E and EC-06 represents a key step in its long-term vision for sustainable mobility. These new electric models reflect Yamaha’s dedication to delivering excitement and performance while contributing to a cleaner, greener future.
The first model, AEROX-E, is a performance-oriented EV that brings Yamaha’s signature excitement and responsive handling to riders seeking an electric alternative without compromise. The second, the EC-06, introduces an all-new design concept created for customers who value smart mobility, comfort, and contemporary design in their everyday rides. Together, the AEROX-E and EC-06 represent Yamaha’s approach to serving both performance seekers and everyday users, marking the brand’s transition into the next phase of its journey in India with choices that are dynamic, accessible, and sustainable.
The company also announced the launch of the new FZ-Rave — further strengthening its popular FZ portfolio. Developed for India’s young riders, the new FZ-Rave offers a balanced mix of performance, efficiency, and everyday practicality. It continues the FZ family’s legacy of reliability and agility, serving the needs of daily riders across cities and towns while retaining its distinctive, assertive styling.

XSR155 – Yamaha’s modern retro sport motorcycle blends classic styling with advanced engineering. Featuring a 155cc liquid-cooled engine with VVA, dual-channel ABS, traction control, and a Deltabox frame, it delivers high performance, agility, and everyday usability. Available in four colors with Scrambler and Café Racer accessory options, it is priced at Rs. 1,49,990 (ex-showroom Delhi).
AEROX-E – Yamaha’s high-performance electric scooter offers dual 3 kWh detachable batteries, 9.4 kW peak power, multiple riding modes, reverse function, and a certified range of 106 km. With a large TFT screen, app connectivity, and smart ergonomics, it targets urban riders seeking performance, style, and sustainable mobility.
EC-06 – Designed for interurban commuting, this EV scooter comes with a 4 kWh fixed battery, 4.5 kW motor, three riding modes, reverse function, and a 160 km certified range. With LED lighting, telematics, and under-seat storage, it caters to tech-savvy riders looking for practical, eco-friendly mobility.
FZ-RAVE – Yamaha’s sporty 149cc motorcycle combines aggressive styling with city-friendly performance. Powered by an air-cooled engine delivering 9.1 kW, it features LED lighting, a 5-speed gearbox, single-channel ABS, and a 13L fuel tank. Available in Matte Titan and Metallic Black at Rs. 1,17,218 (ex-showroom Delhi), it targets young riders seeking style, practicality, and efficient performance.
