Nissan launches 55-minute Vehicle Exchange Program in partnership with Spinny

The initiative integrates digital and physical touchpoints, streamlines documentation, and enhances dealer efficiency—marking a significant step in modernizing the car ownership journey.

Nissan Motor India has introduced a first-of-its-kind 55-minute vehicle exchange program across the country in collaboration with Spinny, further strengthening its customer-first approach.

This initiative enables customers to have their existing vehicles evaluated on the spot and benefit from an exchange bonus when purchasing a new Nissan car.

The newly launched 55-minute exchange process is designed to streamline buying, selling, and exchanging vehicles under one roof, significantly enhancing overall customer convenience. Dedicated Spinny evaluators will be deployed across 30 key cities to support dealership operations, with appointment scheduling available at Spinny touchpoints.

Additionally, on-ground Spinny counters will be set up at Nissan dealerships in these cities, offering real-time assistance to customers interested in exploring vehicle exchange options.

Customers exchanging their vehicles through touchpoints at Nissan dealerships or directly via digital interface of Spinny will enjoy exclusive exchange benefits on the purchase of new Nissan brand vehicles. A key advantage of the collaboration continues to be the simplified exchange process, where a Spinny-issued ‘Selling Letter’ is accepted as valid proof of exchange, eliminating the need for transferred RC documentation for Nissan customers and ensuring a smoother transaction experience.

In addition to enhancing customer convenience, the partnership also strengthens Nissan’s dealer ecosystem by enabling improved used inventory management, incremental lead generation, and collaborative marketing initiatives – further strengthening the brand’s retail efficiency. By integrating digital and physical touchpoints, Nissan is creating a more agile and customer-focused retail environment.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said, “At Nissan Motor India, we are committed to building a customer-first ecosystem that simplifies every stage of the ownership journey. Strengthening our collaboration with Spinny and introducing faster exchange timelines reinforces our focus on convenience, transparency, and value for our customers and dealer partners – while supporting our broader growth in the country.”

Niraj Singh, Founder & CEO of Spinny, said, “Our continued partnership with Nissan Motor India represents a shared commitment to simplifying car ownership journeys. With faster exchanges, expanded evaluator presence, and integrated dealership touchpoints, we are working together to make car upgrades seamless, transparent, and rewarding for customers across India.”

This enhanced collaboration sets a new benchmark in OEM and used car platform integration, offering a compelling proposition for customers and complements Nissan’s growing product momentum in the country.  The benefits of the program can be availed across the current line-up of Nissan cars in India.

The continued success of the New Nissan Magnite has laid a strong foundation for growth, while the launch of the All-New Nissan GRAVITE marks another defining milestone in the company’s expanding portfolio. Introduced at an attractive introductory price of INR 5.65 Lakhs (ex-showroom), the GRAVITE strengthens Nissan’s value-driven proposition and is further complemented by a Limited Period Launch Edition. With a strengthened exchange ecosystem and a renewed product strategy, Nissan Motor India remains firmly committed to accelerating its resurgence and delivering greater value to customers across the country.
