Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has partnered with the Government of Nagaland to enhance healthcare and education facilities across the state, benefiting over 4.4 lakh citizens in Kohima and Dimapur districts. Guided by its philosophy of creating inclusive social impact, the company continues to advance sustainable CSR initiatives aimed at strengthening communities.
These initiatives are part of a broader Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between TKM and the Government of Nagaland for FY 2025–26. The MoU outlines a comprehensive roadmap focused on reinforcing healthcare systems, upgrading educational infrastructure, promoting hygiene, and driving inclusive community development across the state.
Under its healthcare intervention programme, TKM has supplied critical medical and non-medical equipment to health centres and district hospitals in Nagaland. The support includes ambulances, X-ray machines, diagnostic scanners, patient beds, and essential hospital furniture. These upgrades are expected to improve emergency response capabilities, enhance diagnostic accuracy, strengthen patient care services, and reduce referral dependency for rural and semi-urban populations.
In the education sector, TKM has undertaken infrastructure improvements to foster safer and more conducive learning environments. The support includes classroom furniture, kitchen equipment to ensure hygienic mid-day meal preparation, and sports materials to promote physical development. These efforts aim to enhance student attendance, improve overall well-being, and contribute to sustainable academic outcomes across beneficiary schools.
Through this partnership, Toyota Kirloskar Motor reaffirms its commitment to driving meaningful and long-term social impact in underserved regions.
