Nitin Gadkari inaugurated Ultraviolette Automotive’s 40th experience centre in India with the launch of a new UV Space Station in Nagpur, marking another milestone in the company’s retail and service network expansion.

The newly launched UV Space Station represents a significant step in Ultraviolette’s strategy to strengthen its presence across emerging mobility markets in India. The facility is designed to offer customers a comprehensive brand experience, including product exploration, sales, and after-sales service support.

The inauguration by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari highlights the growing importance of electric mobility and the expansion of EV infrastructure across key cities in India.

Ultraviolette is proud to ‘Make in India’ and ‘Design in India’ for the World, and this is embodied in its state-of-the-art electric portfolio, engineered ground-up in India. As part of its ongoing commitment, the company also achieved several significant milestones in product development and technology, including the launch of the X-47 Crossover- World’s first radar integrated motorcycle in its segment, UV Crossfade carbon-fibre helmet, and the recently announced- ‘Battery Flex’ (BaaS) platform. This further emphasises Ultraviolette’s focus on building a comprehensive performance-driven electric mobility ecosystem. With this addition, the company further strengthens customer access to its performance electric motorcycles across Maharashtra and reinforces its growing national presence.

Commenting on the launch, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder at Ultraviolette, said, “Nagpur has long been recognized as a hub of innovation and progressive thinking, and today marks a defining moment as we inaugurate the Ultraviolette Space Station here. This milestone, graced by Shri Nitin Gadkariji, an ardent champion of electric mobility and the Make in India vision, underscore the rapid growth of India’s two-wheeler EV industry. The momentum we are witnessing is not just about adoption, but about aspiration- a new generation of riders who demand unmatched design, uncompromised performance, futuristic technology, and sustainability in equal measure. With this expansion, Ultraviolette is committed to building a future-ready ecosystem where customers experience our engineering-led mobility solutions through a seamless journey of sales, service, and ownership.”

The newly established UV Space Station, in partnership with dealer Quantum Surge Motors LLP, will provide customers a comprehensive experience to explore Ultraviolette’s performance motorcycles- the X-47 Crossover and F77s. The UV Space Station is a 3S facility and is designed to offer an immersive experience, starting with test ride experience, sales, service, and a range of motorcycle accessories- all under one roof. The Experience Centre will display the company’s performance motorcycles the X-47 and F77s. The products redefine electric performance with a powertrain boasting 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 60 kph in just 2.8 seconds. Equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery, it boasts an IDC range of 323 kms on a single charge.

Built on Ultraviolette’s deep engineering and platform-led innovation, the X-47 Crossover is the world’s first electric motorcycle in its segment that offers radar as a standard, marking a decisive shift in how performance electric motorcycles are designed and experienced. The motorcycle features a rider-focused interface with a 5-inch TFT display, three distinct ride modes, long-travel suspension and industry-first radial all-terrain tyres, delivering confidence, stability and control across varied riding conditions.

Advanced safety and intelligence are delivered through Ultraviolette’s UV Radar Intelligence, powered by a 77 GHz rear radar and the UV HyperSense Advanced Rider Assistance System, enabling functions such as blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, overtake alerts and rear collision warnings. The X-47 also incorporates the world’s most power-dense air-cooled onboard charger, engineered, developed and designed in-house by Ultraviolette, alongside an integrated dashcam system. This engineering-led approach has earned recognition across the automotive industry, including honors from leading automotive awards as EV Motorcycle of the Year, reinforcing Ultraviolette’s ambition to build globally competitive electric mobility solutions from India.

Niraj Rajmohan, CTO & Co-founder at Ultraviolette added, “Technology is at the heart of India’s transformational journey into a global innovation hub, and the launch of the Ultraviolette Space Station in Nagpur is a testament to that journey. With years of rigorous R&D and the brilliance of our teams, we are building advanced mobility solutions that seamlessly integrate performance, sustainability, and engineering excellence. At Ultraviolette, we are proud to strengthen India’s technological strengths to drive change, redefine everyday mobility, and position the country at the forefront of sustainable innovation. We remain committed to building India’s leadership in technology and sustainability.”

The company also recently introduced ‘Battery Flex’ (BaaS), a flexible ownership model aimed at lowering the entry barrier for performance electric motorcycles while offering greater flexibility in battery usage and ownership. Under this initiative, customers can now own the Ultraviolette X-47 starting at ₹1,49,000, with battery subscription plans beginning at ₹2,499 per month.

This model enables customers to purchase the motorcycle chassis separately while subscribing to the battery through a monthly plan, making performance electric mobility more accessible. The initiative further strengthens Ultraviolette Automotive’s ecosystem-led approach to accelerating electric vehicle adoption in India.
