Bharat Forge Limited and Germany-based Agile Robots S.E. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing AI-driven robotics and intelligent industrial automation.
The proposed collaboration will leverage Bharat Forge’s deep manufacturing and sectoral expertise alongside Agile Robots’ advanced intelligent robotics and automation technologies to develop and deploy cutting-edge solutions across industries including automotive, healthcare, consumer electronics, industrial CPG, and logistics. The Indo-German partnership is focused exclusively on civilian industry and manufacturing applications.
Under the MoU, the two companies will work together to:
- Co-develop and establish capabilities to offer customised, modular automation solutions for manufacturing, industrial CPG, and logistics, including the localisation of Agile Robots’ existing solutions for India and Southeast Asia
- Develop and deploy state-of-the-art vision- and AI-based robotic systems, positioning Agile Robots as a strategic partner in enabling fully autonomous or “dark” factories
