JSW Motors Limited, the new energy passenger vehicle arm of the JSW Group, has announced a long-term strategic technology partnership with Dassault Systèmes aimed at transforming the design, engineering and manufacturing of its upcoming product portfolio.
As part of the collaboration, JSW Motors will deploy Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, powered by DELMIA, as the core digital backbone for its future range of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs). The platform will support the entire vehicle lifecycle — from design and engineering to manufacturing and lifecycle management.
Ranjan Nayak, CEO of JSW Motors Limited, said the partnership aligns with the company’s vision of building a technology-led mobility ecosystem engineered in India with global standards. He added that integrating advanced digital platforms will help accelerate development timelines, enhance product quality and strengthen localisation by collaborating with domestic suppliers.
Deepak NG, Managing Director, India, Dassault Systèmes, highlighted that the Indian automotive industry is at a pivotal transformation point. He noted that the 3DEXPERIENCE platform will enable JSW Motors to manage the complexity of software-defined vehicles, while ensuring end-to-end integration across design, engineering, manufacturing and lifecycle operations.
The collaboration will also enable the creation of virtual twins of products and processes, helping improve innovation, operational efficiency and scalability. This integrated digital ecosystem is expected to strengthen JSW Motors’ readiness to develop globally competitive and future-ready vehicles.
JSW Motors is also implementing a world-class Manufacturing Execution System (MES) on the same platform, enabling seamless digital continuity, enhanced traceability and improved product lifecycle management. The initiative further reinforces the company’s commitment to building a globally benchmarked automotive ecosystem in India, combining local manufacturing capabilities with access to advanced global technologies.
Through this strategic partnership, JSW Motors aims to accelerate localisation, strengthen the domestic supply chain and deliver world-class new energy vehicles tailored for Indian and global markets.
