HOP Electric to kick-start #OXOFeelElectric test ride programs

Delivery of the newly launched electric motorcycle 'OXO' is expected to commence in December

India’s youngest electric two-wheeler manufacturer, HOP Electric’s recently launched electric bike, HOP OXO has received an encouraging response from discerning customers and dealer partners. Reinforcing its commitment to the enhanced brand ownership experience, HOP Electric is kick-starting the next leg of its national #oxofeelelectric program for its existing and potential customers.

HOP Electric is all set to launch test-drive and pre-booking for customers across 50 locations in the country, including Jaipur, Delhi, and Pune. HOP Electric’s OXO has garnered more than 6000 bookings and 10,000+ interests in just two months of the launch. The company informed that the first batch of 2500+ vehicles is production ready, but due to changes in the guidelines of the Ministry of Heavy Industries’ FAME II and the introduction of new tests and standards, deliveries to the customers are yet to begin. The company reassures its customers that deliveries will begin soon as per new compliances.

Ketan Mehta, Co-Founder, and CEO, HOP Electric said, “We are grateful to our customers – the real game changers for an overwhelming response and acceptance of HOP OXO. While HOP OXO is designed for the highest standards of safety and performance it is important for us to adhere to the new norms. We welcome GoI’s tougher norms for safety standards and localisation for FAME II subsidies. HOP OXO is technically compliant to new norms and awaiting the new certification.

”Meanwhile if any of our customers wants to buy Hop OXO today we are happy to ship without incentives as we have already completed state certification across 15 states where our network is present. #OXOFeelElectric program is a step towards bringing the OXO experience to all our customers who have pre-booked Hop OXO. Starting from Delhi, Jaipur, and Pune, Hop OXO will be available at more than 50 locations with our dealerships for Test Rides.” He added
