Yamaha recalls 3.06 lakh RayZR, Fascino 125 Hybrid Scooters

India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM) has announced a voluntary recall of 3,06,635 units of its 125cc hybrid scooter models manufactured between May 2, 2024, and September 3, 2025, effective immediately, as part of its ongoing commitment to customer safety and product quality.

The recall applies to select units of the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooters. Yamaha said the campaign has been initiated after identifying a potential issue in which, under certain operating conditions, the front brake caliper may exhibit reduced performance.

As a precautionary measure, Yamaha will replace the affected component free of cost for all eligible vehicles at authorised Yamaha dealerships across India.

Customers can check whether their scooter is covered under the recall by visiting the Service section of the India Yamaha Motor website. Under the Maintenance tab, customers should click on ‘Voluntary Recall Campaign’ and enter the vehicle’s chassis number in the ‘Scooter 125’ section to verify eligibility and view the next steps.

Alternatively, customers may visit their nearest authorised Yamaha showroom or contact India Yamaha Motor through its toll-free customer care number 1800-420-1600, or via email at yes@yamaha-motor-india.com, for further assistance.
