Godawari Electric  receives ICAT certification for its Li-ion battery  

Godawari Electric Motors have started using these certified batteries  in its e-auto Eblu Rozee and e-loader Eblu Reino. The battery was tested extensively and has managed to meet all the safety and performance parameters that is mandated by ICAT under the latest amendment.

Godawari Electric Motors, manufacturers of the Eblu range of products, has announced that its 200Ah lithium-ion battery pack which is manufactured by Ruchira Green has received AIS 156 authorisation under Amendment-III Phase-II from the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT). Godawari Electric Motors have started using these certified batteries  in its e-auto Eblu Rozee and e-loader Eblu Reino. The battery was tested extensively and has managed to meet all the safety and performance parameters that is mandated by ICAT under the latest amendment.

The battery is one of the core components of an EV and with our 200Ah pack receiving ICAT certification, we are compliant with the latest regulations laid down by the governing authorities. Our focus has been on creating quality products with rider safety in mind and this certification will further enhance the customer awareness and help in building trust in our products.”

Godawari Electric Motors currently retails the e-auto (L5M) Eblu Rozee and e-bicycle range Eblu Spin and Eblu Thrill which are available in three variants. The company as part of its network expansion strategy has commissioned 28 dealerships across the country.
