Kazam surpasses 1 lakh EV Chargers, Driving India toward 30% EV adoption by 2030

Kazam has surpassed 1 lakh EV charger installations across 3,900 pin codes in India. Partnering with Mahindra and Bajaj, Kazam is accelerating the country’s goal of 30% EV adoption by 2030 with accessible, hardware-agnostic charging solutions, strengthening India’s clean mobility ecosystem.

Kazam, India’s leading EV charging infrastructure and energy-tech company, has achieved a major milestone by installing over 1 lakh EV chargers across the country. Covering 3,900 pin codes, Kazam has established one of India’s most widespread and accessible EV charging networks, laying a strong foundation for the nation’s clean mobility transition.

A significant portion of this growth comes through strategic partnerships with top automotive names, including Mahindra and Bajaj. By integrating OEM-led ecosystems with its independent charging network, Kazam is making EV adoption more seamless and convenient for millions of users across urban and semi-urban regions.

This milestone aligns with India’s ambitious goal of achieving 30% EV penetration by 2030. Recognizing that accessible and reliable charging infrastructure is critical to accelerating EV adoption, Kazam’s rapid expansion ensures hardware-agnostic, future-ready charging solutions are available where they are needed most, empowering the country’s transition to clean energy.

Kazam’s unique model, spanning residential, commercial, and fleet charging, allows interoperability across multiple OEMs, giving users the freedom and confidence to transition to EVs without range anxiety. The company has already powered over 45 GWh of energy through its platform and continues to scale rapidly with hardware-agnostic technology, battery energy storage integration, and peer-to-peer energy trading pilots.

“Crossing 1 lakh installations is a milestone for us! At Kazam, we are building the backbone of India’s clean mobility future. Our collaborations with Mahindra and Bajaj and our presence across nearly 4,000 pin codes underline our vision: to make EV charging as universal and reliable as the electricity grid itself. This current achievement reaffirms our commitment to accelerate India’s journey towards net-zero, while shaping a sustainable energy ecosystem for generations to come”, shared Mr. Akshay Shekhar, CEO, Kazam.

With this achievement, Kazam joins the ranks of global leaders in EV infrastructure while staying firmly committed to its mission of building a clean, accessible, and future-ready energy ecosystem for India and beyond.
