
Kia India dealer partner Incheon Kia has delivered 150 units of the Syros EV in a single day in Kochi, setting a national record for the highest number of electric vehicles of a single model delivered by a dealership in one day.
The record-setting deliveries took place on August 17 in Kochi, coinciding with the Malayalam New Year, and marked the dealership’s first batch of Syros EV deliveries. The event was certified by the India Book of Records.
The 150 electric vehicles were handed over to customers during a large-scale delivery ceremony. Following the event, the vehicles were individually flagged off by senior Kia India executives, including Managing Director and CEO Gwanggu Lee.
Kia Syros EV Bookings Cross 650 in Kochi
Incheon Kia has received more than 650 bookings for the Syros EV in Kochi, with the first 150 units now delivered to customers. The dealership said the strong booking numbers and initial delivery milestone point to growing interest in the electric model in the local market.
Incheon Kia Targets 10,000 Vehicle Sales in 2026
Incheon Kia, which began operations seven years ago, is nearing 50,000 cumulative vehicle sales. The dealership expects to sell around 10,000 vehicles during 2026.
The record delivery comes as Kia continues to expand its electric vehicle portfolio in India. The milestone also highlights the role of Kia’s dealer network in driving awareness and customer adoption of the Syros EV across the country.
