Ola Electric has officially started mass deliveries of its scooters powered by the in-house–developed 4680 Bharat Cell, marking a major milestone in the company’s push toward fully indigenised battery technology. The S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) becomes the first model to feature this locally manufactured battery pack, promising higher range, stronger performance, and improved safety.
Equipped with a 13 kW motor, the updated S1 Pro+ accelerates from 0–40 km/h in just 2.1 seconds and delivers an IDC-certified range of 320 km in DIY mode. The scooter offers four ride modes — Hyper, Sports, Normal, and Eco — along with dual ABS and disc brakes at both ends for enhanced controllability.
To complement the performance upgrades, the refreshed S1 Pro+ introduces a range of new design elements, including:
- Two-tone seat with improved cushioning
- Body-coloured mirrors
- New die-cast aluminium grab handle
- Rim decals
- Wider colour palette: Passion Red, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black, Stellar Blue, and Midnight Blue
