SAMIL generates over ₹100 crore in pre-owned vehicle sales despite GST price cuts on new vehicles

Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) achieved over ₹100 crore in transactions during its Diwali Auction 2025, hosting 135+ live auctions nationwide. More than 11,000 pre-owned vehicles and equipment were showcased, highlighting strong demand despite GST-driven price cuts on new vehicles.

Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL), India’s largest platform for pre-owned vehicles and equipment, has recorded business worth over ₹100 crore through its extensive network of 135+ AutoMalls across the country. The milestone was achieved via a combination of physical and online auctions of pre-owned vehicles and equipment.

In total, around 11,000 vehicles and equipment were successfully transacted, sourced from leading NBFCs, banks, OEMs, insurance companies, aggregators, and dealers — underscoring the resilience and growing strength of India’s pre-owned asset market.

The Diwali Auction 2025 was powered by SAMIL’s revolutionary physical and online (Phygital)  model, seamlessly integrating live, on-ground Automall auctions with real-time digital bidding via the MySAMIL App and Live Bidding on bids.samil.in. About 13,000 keen buyers participated in the auction across the country.
