
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) celebrated a strong performance at the IndiaSkills National Competition 2025-26, with its participants securing a total of nine medals — including 5 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze — across seven skill categories at the national level.
The achievement underscores Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s continued commitment to skill excellence and youth empowerment, while reinforcing its focus on developing industry-ready talent aligned with global standards.
India’s premier platform for vocational excellence, IndiaSkills 2025-26 witnessed participation from top talent across the country. Competitors progressed through multiple stages — District, Zonal, State and Regional levels — before culminating in the national finals.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s consistent performance across all stages highlights its structured approach to skill development and its long-term investment in building a future-ready workforce. The company said the achievement reflects its dedication to nurturing technical excellence and supporting India’s growing need for skilled professionals in the automotive and manufacturing sectors.
At the national level, 14 team members from TKM participated across seven skills, with competitions held in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
- The winners Deepu M S and Jayanth K secured Gold in Mechatronics, while Ganesh P B and Punith Kumar bagged Silver in the same category.
- In Robotic System Integration, Shashank S and Abhishek S S won Gold, followed by Chirag G and Vinay M H with Silver. In Additive Manufacturing, Pavan B S won Gold and Harshith K B secured Silver.
- Tejas B S won Gold in Auto Body Repair, while Punith P secured Gold in Mechanical Engineering CAD. In Welding, Praveen Y H achieved a Bronze medal.
With an objective of transforming rural youth into world-class technicians, TKM continues to invest in advanced training infrastructure, industry-relevant curricula and global best practices. TKM’s active participation in IndiaSkills and WorldSkills platforms underscores its long-term vision of nurturing talent that can compete at an international level.

The winners will now prepare for the final selection rounds for the WorldSkills Competition 2026, scheduled to be held from September 22 to 27, 2026, in Shanghai, China. WorldSkills provides a global platform for young professionals to demonstrate their expertise across more than 65 skills, with participation from over 60 countries.
