Mobility service provider CSL i.e. Chartered Speed Ltd. who had signed a MoU with GIFT City and IFSC flagged off a fleet of Electric Vehicles in India’s first smart city, GIFT City.
Chartered Speed as a part of phase 1 introduced 20 E-bikes and 4 fully integrated EV Buses. This was launched to address the demand of public transport for passengers commuting to and from GIFT City. It is estimated that the number of buses will increase over a period of 12-18 months to 50. These 37-seater Chartered Speed EV buses are equipped with necessary amenities. Similarly, Chartered Speed Bikes are powerful yet lightweight electric bikes to provide easy travel within GIFT City.
Mr. Tapan Ray, Managing Director & Group CEO of GIFT City flagged off the services in presence of Mr. Pankaj Gandhi, Managing Director, and CEO of Chartered Speed Ltd. These services will cover three points – 2 in Ahmedabad and 1 in Gandhinagar.
