EXCON 2025, South Asia’s premier construction equipment exhibition, has opened at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre and will run until December 13. Organized by CII, the event has grown significantly since its launch in 2000.

The 13th edition of EXCON, South Asia’s premier construction equipment exhibition, has opened at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre and will continue until December 13, 2025. Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the event has grown substantially since its launch in 2000.

This year’s edition spans an impressive 3.5 million sq. ft., featuring 1,250+ exhibitors, including 134 international participants. Seven country pavilions — from France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, China, and the UK — will showcase state-of-the-art technologies and innovations.

Already the third-largest construction equipment exhibition globally and second-largest in Asia, EXCON aims to become the world’s second-largest by 2032.

R. Mukundan, President Designate of CII and Chairman of EXCON 2025, emphasized India’s accelerating infrastructure growth. The nation has allocated ₹11.21 lakh crore for infrastructure development in FY 2025-26, covering major initiatives such as Bharatmala, high-speed rail, Smart Cities, and the PM Gati Shakti master plan.

“EXCON supports this vision by providing the largest platform for technology adoption, mechanization, and sustainability in construction,” Mukundan said, highlighting the event’s role in connecting global innovators, policymakers, and industry leaders.

The five-day exhibition will host 300+ product launches, live equipment demonstrations, and dedicated sustainability pavilions. According to Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General of CII, EXCON enables unmatched networking and collaboration opportunities for industry stakeholders.

Deepak Shetty, Co-Chairman of EXCON 2025, reiterated the industry’s ambitions to position India as the second-largest and fastest-growing construction equipment market globally. The sector plans to triple its size to $25 billion and strengthen India’s position as a global manufacturing and export powerhouse, supplying equipment to 135+ countries.

Karnataka’s emergence as a major manufacturing hub for construction equipment and components will also be spotlighted during the event. EXCON 2025 serves as a crucial platform for businesses, policymakers, and global participants to explore growth opportunities and accelerate India’s infrastructure development journey.
