
JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. expanded its Off-the-Road (OTR) lineup with the launch of four new tyres at CII EXCON 2025, the 13th edition of South Asia’s largest construction equipment trade fair, held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). The new products strengthen the company’s portfolio across construction, mining, and material-handling applications.
The tyres were unveiled by Dr. R. Mukhopadhyay, Director (R&D), JK Tyre & Industries, who highlighted their advanced engineering and application-focused design.
Leading the new introductions is the SKY GRIP tyre in size 355/55D625, designed specifically for Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs) and Boom Lifts. Engineered for construction, infrastructure maintenance, warehousing, and industrial operations, SKY GRIP offers enhanced stability, superior traction, and reliable performance at elevated heights. It is compatible with articulated and telescopic boom lifts, telehandlers, and rough-terrain aerial platforms.
JK Tyre also launched three additional tyres for industrial and mining use:
- 14.00-25 GTL PLUS – Built for backhoe loaders, delivering high stability and durability during loading and excavation.
- 23.5-25 GTL PLUS – Designed for wheel loaders, offering strong traction and long-lasting performance on challenging terrain.
- 14.00-20 VEM AS-UG – Developed for underground mining, featuring a reinforced casing and specialised compound suited for shuttle cars working in abrasive and demanding environments.
