SANY India has unveiled its largest-ever range of construction and mining equipment at EXCON 2025, presenting 39 advanced machines spanning construction, mining, material handling, lifting, road equipment, and electric mobility solutions.
The showcase underscores SANY India’s commitment to supporting India’s infrastructure growth with a strong focus on electrification, sustainability, and cost efficiency. The exhibition aligns with the EXCON 2025 theme, “Chariots of Development – Every Man. Every Machine. Every Minute. Working Towards Viksit Bharat.”
Deepak Garg, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, SANY India and South Asia, said the latest portfolio blends global innovation with enhanced intelligence, efficiency, and sustainability, helping customers improve productivity while lowering lifecycle costs.
Excavators Lead with Electric Innovation
SANY India’s excavator portfolio on display included SY33C PRO, SY38U PRO, SY150C PRO, SY220C-9 XL SPARC+, and SY390C-10 HD GraMa+, addressing applications ranging from urban infrastructure to quarrying and large-scale mining.
The highlight of the line-up was the launch of two electric excavators:
- SY215EP – a 21-ton, cable-operated electric excavator powered by a 150 kW motor
- SY375EP – a 38-ton class electric excavator with a 200 kW motor delivering 1,140 Nm torque
Both models operate on 3-phase AC power and offer up to three times lower operating costs compared to conventional diesel machines.
Expanded Electric Material Handling and Foundation Solutions
In material handling, SANY India introduced 3-ton and 5-ton electric forklifts featuring IP67 protection, liquid-cooled systems, and lithium-ion batteries, designed for ports, steel plants, warehouses, and logistics hubs.
The foundation equipment portfolio is led by the SR235 MIII multifunctional drilling rig, capable of rotary, CFA, cased, and low-headroom piling. The segment also includes fully electric heavy-duty trucks, delivering approximately 70% lower operating costs.
Mining, Cranes, and Road Equipment Portfolio
For mining applications, SANY India showcased the following equipments:
- SY680EP 65-ton electric excavator
- SW956E electric wheel loader
- SW978K Pro diesel loader
The crane range features the SRC400CR BS-V rough-terrain crane, engineered for demanding industrial and infrastructure projects.
In road construction, new launches include an 11-ton single drum roller, a 9-ton double drum roller, and a 9-tyre pneumatic roller, catering to India’s expanding highway and urban road development needs.
Built for India, Backed by Local Manufacturing
Sanjay Saxena, COO, SANY India, highlighted that the product line-up has been developed using direct feedback from contractors, mining operators, fleet owners, and logistics companies, with engineering tailored for Indian operating conditions.
SANY India operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune, established in 2012 with an investment exceeding ₹1,000 crore. The company supports customers through a robust network of 42 dealers and 260 touchpoints nationwide and has deployed over 35,000 machines across India and South Asia.
Visitors to EXCON 2025 experienced live demonstrations and engaged with SANY India’s engineering and product specialists at the company’s exhibition stand.
