Toyota Kirloskar Motor showcases Hybrid Technology at Advantage Maharashtra Expo 2026

Through its participation, Toyota Kirloskar Motor reaffirmed its long-term commitment to sustainable mobility solutions, advanced manufacturing practices, and inclusive growth in Maharashtra and across India.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) showcased its commitment to sustainable mobility, advanced manufacturing, and skill development at the Advantage Maharashtra Expo 2026, underlining the company’s long-term focus on innovation and responsible growth in India.

At the Expo, Toyota highlighted the potential of Flex-Fuel Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicle (SHEV) technology, demonstrating how advanced hybrid solutions can support India’s energy transition while reducing emissions. The company’s pavilion also reflected its emphasis on industry collaboration, technology awareness, and future-ready mobility solutions, aligned with national sustainability objectives.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s participation further reinforced its dedication to youth empowerment through skilling initiatives in Maharashtra, showcasing efforts to build a strong, future-ready workforce and support local manufacturing ecosystems.

The Advantage Maharashtra Expo 2026, held once every three years, is among the largest industrial exhibitions in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and the Marathwada region. The event is organized by the Marathwada Association of Small-Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra, serving as a key platform for industry, policymakers, and technology leaders to connect and collaborate.

At the Technology Pavilion, TKM presented a curated display of its advanced vehicle technologies including the HyCross Flexi-Fuel Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicle (FFV SHEV). This underscored TKM’s approach, reflecting a philosophy centered on multi-pathway approach towards achieving carbon neutrality that balances sustainable mobility.

Further strengthening engagement at the Expo, TKM conducted a session on Toyota Culture for representatives from industry and educational institutions. The session highlighted TKM’s core values of quality-led manufacturing, continuous improvement, skill development, and customer centric leadership, aimed at deepening long-term partnerships in Maharashtra.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Maharashtra, further strengthening their partnership with the Government to support the development of a structured and scalable skilling ecosystem across the state, with a focus on strengthening Industrial Training Institutes. Additionally, as part of its CSR focus on education, TKM has upgraded infrastructure and learning facilities in 11 government schools in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, contributing to improved educational environments for local communities.
