Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), in collaboration with the Indian Armed Forces, has successfully concluded the Bharat Rannbhoomi Darshan expedition in New Delhi, a nationwide initiative dedicated to honoring India’s military heritage, bravery, and spirit of unity. Serving as the official mobility partner, TKM supported the mission that paid tribute to the sacrifices and legacy of the nation’s armed forces. The closing ceremony was attended by Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi, alongside senior representatives from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Border Security Force (BSF), civil administration officials, and the Toyota Kirloskar Motor leadership team. The expedition, led by the Toyota Hilux, culminated at the National War Memorial in New Delhi, marking a solemn and meaningful conclusion to the journey celebrating courage and resilience.
Launched on 3 February from Dwarka in Gujarat, the 23-day expedition covered more than 4,400 kilometres across 14 cities and four states, traversing strategically and historically significant locations. The initiative brought together a 32-member contingent comprising personnel from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, BSF, and war veterans, reinforcing a collective message of remembrance, national pride, and deep respect for the Armed Forces.
As the official mobility partner, Toyota Kirloskar Motor supported the expedition with a fleet of its 15 Toyota Hilux vehicles known for their endurance, durability, and dependability, enabling seamless mobility across varied terrains, including deserts, off-road stretches and challenging routes. The Toyota Hilux vehicles delivered consistent performance throughout the journey, powered by advanced 4×4 off-road capability. Additionally, TKM provided comprehensive end-to-end service support, including spare parts and on-ground technical assistance, ensuring smooth drive across the entire route.

As part of the Bharat Rannbhoomi Darshan initiative, TKM organized an exclusive ‘Toyota Hilux Experiential Drive’ in the Golden City of Jaisalmer during the expedition. The event was specially curated to provide participants with a firsthand experience of the Toyota Hilux’s robust and distinctive 4×4 capabilities, along with its exhilarating performance across the sand dunes.
Furthermore, the expedition witnessed public engagement across regions, promoting awareness and appreciation of India’s military history while reinforcing a collective sense of patriotism. With its successful conclusion at the National War Memorial, the Bharat Rannbhoomi Darshan stood as a reaffirmation of national gratitude and unity as it honored those who have served and continue to serve the nation.
