Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the launch of ‘Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Month’, a month-long customer engagement campaign celebrating the growing success of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, recognised as India’s first strong hybrid electric SUV in its segment.
Running from 16 February until the end of March, the campaign is being conducted across North India and aims to bring customers closer to Toyota’s Strong Hybrid technology through immersive test-drive experiences and attractive value-led offers. A key highlight of the Hyryder is its Self-Charging Strong Hybrid Electric system paired with an advanced e-drive transmission. This technology enables the SUV to operate on electric power for up to 40% of the distance and 60% of the driving time with the engine switched off, resulting in a smoother and quieter driving experience. Additionally, the hybrid powertrain delivers an impressive fuel efficiency of 27.97 km/l, positioning the Urban Cruiser Hyryder among the most fuel-efficient SUVs in its class.
