Uno Minda organizes annual innovation event i-Meet focusing on future of mobility

The theme at this year’s i-Meet was "Innovating for the Future of Mobility”. The event was attended by over 140 participants and 400 visitors, in addition to esteemed guests and leadership figures.

Uno Minda’s highly anticipated annual innovation event, i-Meet, was held at the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), Centre 2. Uno Minda, a pioneer in innovation and technology, regularly organizes this unique initiative to provide employees with a platform where they can showcase their innovations to senior leadership. At i-Meet, senior leaders acknowledge and celebrate employees’ contributions. 

The theme at this year’s i-Meet was “Innovating for the Future of Mobility”. At the event, Uno Minda’s various business units showcased their cutting-edge technologies. Such technologies spanned innovations in products, processes, and services. Participants presented unique initiatives which included advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that are tailored for Indian conditions, light weighting technology, robotics and innovation, animated lighting, sustainable seating, and more. Employees whose innovations were showcased were jubilant as these technologies were shortlisted from over 183 entries that Uno Minda received. 

The event was attended by over 140 participants and 400 visitors, in addition to esteemed guests and leadership figures. This year’s highlights were a newly launched Speaker series and the participation of Start-ups and Suppliers, who showcased their innovative technologies.” 

Influential industry leaders, including those from ICAT and automotive OEMs, participated in the Speaker Series. They offered valuable insights on a wide range of topics. Their discussions spanned innovations in the automotive industry arising from 3D printing, electric vehicles (EVs), and functional safety. These discussions provided a glimpse into the upcoming era of futuristic technologies. Furthermore, the event saw active participation from both startups and suppliers. A total of 14 stalls out of the 73 in the Expo area were dedicated to showcasing innovations by startups and suppliers. 

For their futuristic innovations, participants earned awards in categories such as Process Innovation, Service Innovation, Product Innovation, the CTO-Dare to Try Award, and the CMD Award. Important sessions and ceremonies at the event were broadcast for the benefit of employees who were working remotely.  

The two-day i-Meet event provided all visitors with valuable insights and highlighted to Uno Minda’s commitment toward innovation and excellence.
