Apollo Tyres has introduced the Vredestein Pinza All-terrain range of tyres for SUVs in India. The tyres will be available in sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches at the moment. The company claims that these tyres get an all-weather grip and excellent stability are comfortably rugged and deliver whiter rides. The Vredestein Pinza AT is a global product and will be manufactured at Apollo Tyres’ facilities located in Vadodara and Andhra Pradesh.
The company says that these tyres are targeted at premium SUVs from brands like Jeep, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes, Toyota and Volvo. The company also said that these ultra-performance tyres have been developed after an intensive study into SUV owners’ habits and preferences. The company claims that these tyres have been tested extensively in different climates and weather conditions across multiple continents.
Commenting on the launch of Vredestein Pinza AT in India, Satish Sharma, President, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA), Apollo Tyres Ltd said “The introduction of Pinza AT demonstrates our unwavering commitment to meeting the drivers’ needs and ensuring that they have carefully thought-out and expertly engineered solutions, no matter what they drive or where they drive it. These tyres have been refined for on road civility but built rugged for off-road capability, and will appeal to the off roading enthusiast with premium SUVs or with a premium mindset.”
The tyres also get a Jagged edge shoulder design aimed to deliver full capability in mud, sand and snow and the tyres also get a 5th generation polymer blend which provides outstanding wet weather stability with full-depth interlocking sipes. The company also said that the tyres feature a wider tread patterns with increased tread stiffness and four herringbone grooves for water evacuation.
