HD Hyundai CE India launches new models of excavators, forklifts and wheel loaders

The New generation 50 Ton model HX520L is the latest offering from Hyundai which is designed on the Global HX-series platform.

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India has launched multiple products to strengthen its offerings in the infrastructure, mining and material handling industry, the company said in a statement.

The company has launched a new generation Global HX Series 50ton class excavator for heavy-duty mining applications. Under the Smart Plus series of excavator, it has launched three new models in 8-tonne, 14-tonne and 15-tonne.

For the infrastructure and mining segment, it has introduced two new wheeled loaders in 3-tonne and 5-tonne payload category. Two new electric forklifts have been introduced in 2.5-tonne and 3.0-tonne for material handling equipment category.

The company says the Smart Plus series of excavators are built for high performance, improved fuel efficiency, enhanced durability – making them best choice for customers who look for variety of infrastructure applications.

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India, a part of Hyundai Construction Equipment South Korea, started operations in 2007 and rolled out the first machine in 2008 from Chakan Facility. The company claims to be in the No. 2 position in the domestic market, selling over 45,000 excavators. It also exports to around 37 countries in SAARC, MEA, and Asia. It is also importing mini excavators and material handling equipment from South Korea for the Indian market.
