A first-of-its-kind electric scooter has just made its debut in the Indian market by foraying into a whole new category of transparent transportation. The Nashik-based leading electric vehicle manufacturer, Jitendra EV, launched the country’s first see-through e-scooter model, PRIMO, priced at ₹79,999 (ex-showroom).
The electric vehicle maker Jitendra EV has set a new benchmark in the two- wheeler category on the back of a unique product model, attractive design, classic colours, and competitive pricing. While the transparent PRIMO model remains the highlight of the category, the electric vehicle maker has also manufactured models in colours like Black, Silver, Red, and White for riders with distinct preferences.
Fuelled by a 60V, 26Ah battery pack, the PRIMO doesn’t compromise on performance and has been designed to deliver an impressive range of 65 km on a single charge and reach a top speed of 52 kmph. Equipped with features like telescopic forks, hydraulic forks with a spring coil, and a 7-degree gradient ability, the PRIMO ensures a smooth and stylish ride.
Besides being the pioneer of the transparent model, the PRIMO is also integrated with a range of other tech-driven amenities like economy, high- speed, and boost riding modes, a digital instrument console, LED lamps, USB charging, side-stand indicator, thermal propagation alert, and reverse assist. Safety remains at the heart of the product design. According to the EV manufacturer, the transparent scooters are incorporated with 90/90 10-inch tubeless tires and a reliable braking system featuring a front disc brake and rear drum brake setup.
With a three-year vehicle warranty, the PRIMO is more than a scooter; it is a commitment to a transparent, sustainable, and stylish future in electric mobility. Though the model is currently available in a single variant, the PRIMO lineup is poised for expansion. The company, in its official statement, said that they plan to introduce the PRIMO S with a 90 km range and the PRIMO Plus with an extended 130 km range in the upcoming year, enabling riders with a diverse range of options.
