Sokudo Electric India, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched two FAME-II compliant electric scooters – Select 2.2 priced at INR 85,889, Rapid 2.2 at INR 79,889, and one Non-RTO model named Plus (powered By Lithium) at INR 59,889. The company anticipates its new electric scooters to capture 15-20% of the market, the company said.
Select 2.2 and Rapid 2.2 have a range of up to 100 km, and Plus up to 105 km. The new models are equipped with a 15-amp converter for efficient charging and reducing range anxiety. They run on smart fireproof lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) batteries, eliminating the risk common in NMC batteries.
The durable scooters with 3.5mm to 5.25mm ABS plastic bodies feature CANBUS connectors to enable real-time monitoring for easier maintenance and come with a three-year warranty on the battery and a 5-year warranty on the vehicle, the company said in a media release.
